Types of Implants
Dental Implants
Our capabilities allow us to offer a wide range of treatments to our patients, all conducted in-house. These include dental implants, from single and multiple implants through to complex All-On-4/ 6 procedures and bone grafting on dental implants.
All-On-4
Do you wear a full upper or lower denture? Are you unhappy with function and stability of these dentures? Would you like something fixed that does not need to be removed?
The all-on-4 procedure may be for you, it involves the placement of only 4 dental implants to replace a full arch of missing teeth with a fixed bridge. This revolutionary procedure can often negate the need for extensive bone grafting as the implants are angled to make efficient use of the available bone.
All-On-6
Similar to the all-on-4 procedure, the all-on-6 involves the placement of 6 dental implants to restore a full arch of missing teeth with a fixed or removable bridge. In the all-on-6 procedure the implants are placed parallel to one another across the jaw.
Tooth Implants
The replacement of a single missing tooth with a tooth implant is the gold standard in modern dentistry. The procedure involves the placement of a titanium fixture into the jawbone.
After a period of time the titanium fixture fuses with the bone and provides a solid foundation to which a porcelain crown can then be attached.
While there are a number of options available for the replacement of multiple missing teeth, tooth implants provide the most conservative fixed option to restore your smile and chewing ability.
